Mobile application for Traffic Situation and Feedback Bus services. The first release version of the application that is being further developed.

The Traffic Situation application presents data on road, sea and rail traffic collected by Fintraffic, the Finnish Railways and the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom).

The application utilizes data that is available as open data e.g. Through the Digitraffic service. The information presented comes from road weather and traffic measurement systems, traffic control systems and other information systems.

The application also includes a Feedback Bus, through which you can make notifications about the condition of the buses and the flow of traffic. The information is transmitted through the application to Traffic customer service.

Through the Traffic situation application, you can get information about road traffic disturbances, driving conditions and their forecast, traffic flow and congestion, weight restrictions caused by road traffic jams, open and closed ice roads, and pictures of cameras on the road.

For rail transport, station-specific passenger timetable and punctuality information is available in the application.

Maritime traffic data includes warnings issued by Traficom to those moving on the water, as well as information on ships in port and next arriving from all Finnish ports.

Note: The display of observational data in the Traffic Situation application is affected by weather and equipment factors, as well as the stability of the operation of several electronic systems. Thus, the information is not always accurate or may be missing. The observed observation values ​​are based on the information available at the time the service was provided. It is necessary to be prepared that the actual conditions on the road may differ from the data in the application.
